We teach kids ages 3 to 18, as well as adults. We abide by the three Indonesian guiding principles of Asah, Asih, and Asuh:

Asah (Sharpening)

We sharpen the students' artistic skills, critical thinking, and technical proficiency. This involves disciplined instruction in techniques like color theory, composition, and medium handling, pushing them to expand their creative capacities.

Asih (Nurturing)

We nurture an environment of kindness and compassion. Students are actively taught the crucial life skills of mutual respect, empathy, and civility. The studio is a micro-community where children learn to support their peers and appreciate diverse perspectives, fostering a foundation for healthy social interaction. We use art as the tool to build well-rounded, compassionate, and resilient young people.

Asuh Principle

(Practical Support)

We support the students’ physical and psychological needs within the studio environment.

Providing basic shelter (a safe, dedicated, comfortable space for learning), 

attending to basic hygiene (access to facilities for cleaning up after messy art projects), 

providing snacks if they are hungry, and offering practical necessities such as access to spare clothes if accidents occur.

Inclusive Education

We offer a diverse range of classes (including painting, drawing, crafting, and other mixed media arts) designed for all ages and every skill level, from complete beginners to experienced artists.

For newcomers, we provide clear, step-by-step guidance. For those with existing skills, our approach is focused on mentorship to help their creativity flourish.

Bilingual Accessibility

To ensure a truly inclusive environment for both local and international visitors, our dedicated teachers are proficient in both English and Indonesian.

As a private studio, we ensure focused attention for all participants by operating strictly by appointment only. This allows us to maintain a high quality of instruction and a peaceful, uncrowded environment conducive to deep creative work.
